In Oregon, the minimum wage is $15.55 per hour, effective July 1, 2026. Oregon sets its own minimum wage, and no tip credit is allowed, so tipped employees must receive the full minimum wage of $15.55 per hour. Overtime is paid at 1.5× the regular rate after 40 hours in a workweek. This reflects a state overtime law.
Oregon has a three-tier system. The rate shown is the Standard tier. By statute the Portland metro rate is $1.25 above standard and the non-urban rate is $1.00 below. Oregon adjusts rates each July 1 for inflation. No tip credit allowed. Prior standard rate (July 2025 to June 2026): $15.05/hr.
