Does Vermont require PTO payout?

How Vermont treats accrued PTO

Vermont does not require PTO payout by statute. Whether vacation is paid out depends on employer policy or contract. Vermont does have strict final paycheck timing (within 72 hours for both voluntary and involuntary). Vermont's earned sick time law does not require payout at separation.
